Funding Opportunities

Find out about the latest funding opportunities available for CCF contingents and individual cadets.

CCFA Grant Programmes

The Combined Cadet Force Association, through its membership scheme, investments and individual donors, is able to support a variety of grant programmes. These grants are available to all CCF contingents to support a variety of activities that enhance the cadet experience.

The Trustees of CCFA recognise that sometimes projects arise within CCFs which might not be suitable for application via the existing CCFA grant programmes. As such the Trustees invite member CCFs to discuss any such projects with our grants officer at any point in the year by email to [email protected] or phone 020 4586 8185.

Grants for individuals

Grants are awarded up to £350 per cadet on an ongoing basis by the CCFA Grants Committee in support of activities which would not ordinarily be funded by an individual cadet’s contingent.

For more information about this grant programme, please review the guidance notes. To apply please download the application form here. You can apply at any time.

Grants for groups

Grants are awarded up to £750 per activity on an annual basis by the CCFA Grants Committee in support of activities which would not ordinarily be funded by the Chain of Command, both at regional and national level.

For more information about this grant programme, please review the guidance notes and application form here.

Contingent Growth Fund

In conjunction with the Ministry of Defence, the CCFA has established a new fund to help new and existing CCF Contingents grow their cadet numbers and to give many more children the opportunity to take part in the cadet experience. This is in support of the Government’s ambition to increase the number of cadets in school units to 60,000 by 2024. For more information visit the Contingent Growth Fund webpage.
