Lucton School Combined Cadet force is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic CFAV (Cadet Force Adult Volunteer) to take on the vital role of RAF Section Commander.

Lead the Future:

As RAF Section Commander, you will be at the heart of our growing Contingent, providing guidance, mentorship, and leadership to young people in a supportive and engaging environment. You'll be responsible for:

• Overseeing the planning and delivery of exciting and challenging cadet activities.
• Inspiring and motivating cadets to develop valuable life skills, teamwork, and confidence
• Building strong relationships with cadets, parents, and the local community
• Leading and supporting a team of dedicated CFAV instructors and Senior Cadets
• Ensuring the safe and effective running of the RAF Section

The Details:
• Location: Lucton School
• Day: Friday Afternoons (term time only)
• Time: 15:45 - 17:30 (3.45 PM - 5.30 PM)

This post is a voluntary appointment, and the successful applicant will receive the volunteer allowance applicable to their rank under the Voluntary Allowance Days scheme. Additionally, reimbursement for residence to place of duty and motor mileage allowances may also be claimed when on official duty.

We are looking for someone who is:
• Enthusiastic and committed to the aims of the Contingent and the CCF.
• A strong leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about working with young people.
• Organised, responsible, and able to motivate others.
