Remembrance 2017

November is a poignant time of year when the nation reflects on past and present conflicts, and the contributions the Armed Forces continue to make each and every day.

For the Combined Cadet Force, it’s a time when cadets can be seen taking part in fundraising, parades and special events - with this year being no different.

For many new CCF contingents it was the fist time their cadets took part in fundraising and Remembrance Sunday parades.

Many of our cadets also took part in the Royal British Legion’s annual Poppy Appeal, raising funds by selling poppies in supermarkets and town centres.

Our cadets were smart, respectful and proud to be representing both their schools and the wider Armed Forces family. Have a look at our special Remembrance image gallery to see how some of our cadets marked Remembrance 2017.
