Hosted by Merchiston Castle School CCF, The Massed Pipes and Drums of the Scottish Combined Cadet Forces saw 11 schools take part in the event at Edinburgh Castle.
It was a fantastic display for guests and members of the public with the Salute being taken by Captain Michael Tarr OBE Royal Navy. It was followed by a reception in the Great Hall by invitation of the castle's Governor.
