The Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA) has announced the launch of a brand-new grant programme, CCFA DofE Support Grant, designed to support the delivery of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) for CCF Contingents. This new initiative aims to ensure that cadets from all backgrounds have the opportunity to participate in the DofE award and benefit from the life changing experiences that it offers.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award aims to celebrate and champion every young person and offer them the chance to develop essential life skills, resilience, and confidence. It helps young people to stay physically active, as well as allowing them to volunteer and participate in expeditions. Available at three levels (Bronze Award, Silver Award and Gold Award), the scheme is a well-respected and rewarding programme that helps young people develop their leadership, teamwork, and community involvement. Completing the DofE is an impressive achievement, recognised and valued by employers, colleges, and universities both in the UK and internationally.
