The full group of 12 cadets, six from King’s School Grantham and six from their partner school Magnus CofE Academy, visited RAF Cranwell on Sunday 4 February to take part in the flying.
The weather conditions were perfect for the group and it was an exciting experience for all involved.
One of the cadets said: “It was a fantastic experience. I got to do two loop the loops and a barrel roll.”
There was also time for the two schools to get to know each other better during some friendly table football in between flights.
It is hoped that both schools will take more first time cadets for a flying experience over the coming months.
