Hollie played at The National Memorial Arboretum near Burton-on-Trent where the National Service (RAF) Association was holding its Annual General Meeting and parade. Amongst the guests was Air Chief Marshall Sir Stephen Dalton, retired Royal Air Force commander and current Lieutenant Governor of Jersey.

This was the first time that the band had played for the Association and at the Arboretum. A band of 66 cadets were on parade including two bagpipers from 19 (Crawley) Squadron.

Hollie said: “It had been cold but really enjoyable. It's a moving experience [to play at the Arboretum]".

She added that she had "improved her playing skills a lot with help from the Royal Marines Band Service and more experienced cadets".

The Calling Notice for National Music Camps (Concert, Marching and Choir) will soon be advertised. Look out for details on the 'Air Cadet Organisation Music Service' Facebook page or Twitter @aircadetsmusic.

These camps are open to any air cadet, ATC or CCF.
