For the first time in Cheshire a CCF School has been ranked the best rated state school in the county per the Real Schools Guide 2020.

The guide compiled by Reach's data unit, aims to give a far more comprehensive picture than traditional league tables, considering 51 different data points - including not just GCSE results and Attainment 8 scores but also factors like Progress 8, pupil-teacher ratios and absence rates.

King's Leadership Academy Warrington has been named the best state secondary school in Cheshire, with two other CCF Schools also making the top 10 in the county.

Christleton High School was ranked fifth and Bishop Heber High School came tenth. This is a fantastic recognition for all three schools – congratulations to all.
