The cadets were taking part in the Inter Services National First Aid Competition 2017, at CTC Yardley Chase, which took place Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 October.

The competition saw teams compete from across the UK and Northern Ireland, with members of the Army Cadet Force (ACF), Combined Cadet Force (CCF), Sea Cadets (SCC), St. John Ambulance (SJA) Cadets and for the first time Volunteer Police Cadets, putting their first aid skills to the test.

Following a series of challenging first aid scenarios, testing the cadets’ ability to deal with simulated injuries both individually and as teams, Dollar Academy won both the inter service and national competitions.
