On Saturday three Cadets took part in the Royal Windsor Horse Show. The event has been held annually since 1943. It is the largest UK outdoor premier horse show and takes place in the private grounds of Windsor Castle. This year was special as it formed part of the Queens Jubilee celebrations.

Megan, Tom and Madeline took part in the show jumping competition in front members of the Royal Family and a huge crowd. The Cadets copied brilliantly with the big atmosphere gaining a bronze medal presented by Prince Charles.

A highlight of the day was Tom leading the procession of riders and the salute past the Royal box and watching the Musical ride of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment.

On Sunday Cranleigh hosted a Target Sprint national qualifying event. Target Sprint is a new discipline from British Shooting which involves running 400m, shooting 5 knockdown targets with 15 pellets, run, shoot, run. First passed the line wins, combining athleticism with skill and accuracy. Its simple, its fast and its fun!
