Get ready for National Cadets Week
National Cadets Week is an opportunity for Combined Cadet Force (CCF) Contingents to celebrate their cadets, volunteers and the positive difference they make across school communities.
Taking place from 5 to 11 October, the week offers schools a chance to showcase the experiences, skills and opportunities provided through the CCF.
Everything you need to take part
The National Cadets Week toolkit makes it easy to get involved. It brings together ready-made content and practical ideas that can be adapted quickly and incorporated into the normal school week. View the National Cadets Week toolkit.
Inside the toolkit, you will find:
• Ready-to-use social media posts, press releases, graphics and key messages
• Simple activity ideas to use at school which require minimal planning
• Resources to help celebrate your cadets and volunteers
Choose what works for your school
There is no expectation to use every resource or run every activity. Contingents can select the ideas that best suit their cadets, staff and school timetable. Every contribution, large or small, will help recognise the commitment of cadets and volunteers.
Join the celebration
Use the toolkit to plan your National Cadets Week activity and help shine a spotlight on the difference the CCF makes to young people and school communities.
