Hailing from the Northampton International Academy, Georgia is a motivated and confident young leader who proudly serves as the first ever Head Cadet of her school’s CCF Royal Navy. Taking on the role with no predecessor, Georgia has shaped it through her own dedication, positive attitude, and commitment to supporting her peers. She is recognised for her calm leadership style, her ability to listen, and the respect she shows to others, regardless of rank or experience.
Georgia thrives when presented with new challenges and opportunities to grow. She particularly enjoys leadership camps and training courses, where she has strengthened her communication, teamwork, and organisational skills. These experiences have helped her develop into an assured, capable leader who is comfortable taking responsibility and guiding those around her.
These are just some of the reasons why Georgia was recently selected to be one of three CCF cadets chosen as a First Sea Lord Cadet for 2026.
Pathing the Way
Outside of cadets, Georgia has a strong interest in theatre, travel, and creative projects, all of which give her the chance to explore new ideas and express herself. At home, Georgia’s caring side shines through. She enjoys spending time with her elderly grandmother, walking her dog, Bonnie, and helping her with household chores. She also has a very mischievous cat, Tobi, who often provides comic relief with his habit of chasing squirrels and stealing food.
In her downtime, Georgia enjoys watching films and Netflix shows — especially sci-fi adventures and Marvel movies — which inspire her imagination and love of storytelling.
Georgia is also working towards her Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award, demonstrating her determination, resilience, and ability to set and achieve meaningful goals.
Georgia’s integrity, compassion, and willingness to support others define her approach both in and out of uniform. She is a role model to younger cadets and a respected figure within the contingent, consistently striving to make a positive and lasting impact. Whilst Georgia is setting the standard for younger cadets to follow, she also has a busy year ahead. Being one of only three CCF cadets chosen to become a First Sea Lord Cadet for 2026, Georgia is looking forward to a fun, action pack year which will see her working as part of an exceptional group of young leaders to act as ambassadors; representing the CCF at national events and helping to raise the profile of Naval cadets.
Congratulations Georgia on all of your achievements so far, we can’t wait to follow your journey as a First Sea Lord Cadet!
