Network Rail are on the hunt for new apprentices, and are particularly keen to encourage young people with a background in the cadet forces to apply.

Alison Pyman, Talent Acquisition Advisor for the organisation, explained "We're looking for young people who are keen to find a career as bright, and unique as they are. Our Advanced Apprenticeship scheme offers an exciting career journey with Network Rail - and our applications are now open.

"As a company, we recognise the valuable skills and behaviours which young people learn during their time with the cadet forces. The attention to detail, safety focus and team work that they display on a daily basis, along with their core values of trust, selflessness and personal resilience are vital attributes in every workplace. Our engineering apprenticeship offers them the chance to build on these attributes and challenge themselves to build an amazing career in industry, while building the future railway of Great Britain."

Interested applicants can download the apprenticeship flyer, or visit the Network Rail website for further details - applications must be submitted by Monday 31st October.
