An Unforgettable Achievement

High Praise for Harry's Dedication

Guy Horridge OBE, Principal and Chief Executive of Cadet Vocational College, commended Harry’s efforts, saying:

“Harry’s dedication to service, education, and community involvement exemplifies the very best qualities the Westminster Award seeks to recognize and celebrate in its young people. It was a really tough competition this year, and all of the twelve finalists, who were chosen from thousands of eligible Cadet Vocational College learners, were outstanding candidates. Harry stood out during the arduous selection process, and he has distinguished himself through a wide range of volunteer efforts and leadership roles. He is a worthy winner of the 2024 Westminster Award.”

Harry was presented with the award by Lord Lingfield during a prestigious ceremony, where his commitment to creating lasting community impact was highlighted. His initiatives, including free homework and IT support sessions, demonstrate his selfless dedication to helping others and inspiring positive change.

A Moment of Pride for the CCF

We are immensely proud of Harry and all the finalists for their incredible achievements. Harry’s Westminster Award win is a shining example of the values we strive to instil in our CCF cadets—resilience, leadership, and service to others. His success inspires us all and sets a high standard for future generations of cadets to follow.
