The group spent the day at Airbus Helicopters’ Customer Fleet Centre in Aberdeen, where they were given a guided tour of the facilities and a chance to meet people from different departments – giving them a chance to think about future career choices.

The highlight of the day for the cadets was flying the state of the art simulator and getting a flavour of the rigorous training given to, and the extremely high standards demanded of, all in the industry.

Each cadet had the chance to carry out a simulated take off and landing from Aberdeen Airport and flew the simulator around the local area, thoroughly enjoying the unforgettable experience.

Thanks are due to Airbus Commercial Assistant Charlotte Harding for liaising and supervising the visit.
