The contingent is one of only 21 Royal Marines contingents in the country and is central to the leadership development programme for students at the academy.
The post would suit an individual with recent military experience as a Warrant Officer, SNCO or senior rate (Regular or Reserve), or with recent or current service with the cadet forces.
It is a wide and varied role and is regarded as essential in the development and embedding of the CCF within the school and the delivery of the cadet experience.
The main duties of the SSI are to administer and co-ordinate training for cadets and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers.
