The SSI will be expected to proactively help deliver and expand an exciting training programme for students aged 14-19.
Contingent parades take place on Mondays and cadet activities throughout the year. The appointed person will be expected to take part in these events, attend Army Progressive Training curriculum and continue with the academy’s Professional Development programme. There will also be specific responsibilities for supporting the academy and carrying out the role of Pastoral Officer when not completing CCF duties.
The successful applicant will have significant experience of military activities, administration ethos and standards, whether through the regular / reserve armed forces or via Cadet Force Adult Volunteer service.
